Our public landscapes have the power to create connections, forge bonds, and form memories. In this graphic novel, the external threat of change brings a community together to recognize and fight for the landscape they treasure.
Follow the quests of Rick and his friends as they adventure through Franklin Park, discovering the natural and cultural forces that shape our public spaces, all while battling an evil sorcerer, defending the landscape they love, and shaping a design for new opportunities.
Just like landscapes and gardens, the landscape graphic novel is a work in progress and will take some time to grow before it feels complete. Through the support of the Landscape Architecture Foundation, the idea for this book has been nurtured, the storyline and chapter structure sown, and the initial illustrations cultivated - all the right conditions for growth are on the horizon.
